Andorra, via Barcelona, is your ticket to a wonderful winter ski break. More than 300km of Pyrenean pistes across the two main ski areas of Grandvalira and Vallnord Pal-Arinsal await. These spots are excellent for beginners and super for intermediate skiers and snowboarders too, with great-value après ski, shopping and dining to boot. Fly into Barcelona and you can be in Andorra in just three hours. Regular shuttle bus services depart from the airport, direct to Andorra, a few times a day.

Grandvalira, one of the largest ski resorts in Europe, features chairlifts and cable cars ready to whisk you off to six different skiing sections. Meanwhile, 63km of slopes means Vallnord Pal-Arinsal caters for all – it even has a fantastic ski school! You’ve also got north-facing Ordino Arcalís, which consistently offers great snow quality and quantity, and even has some top-rated off-piste sections.

Transfers by bus or train

Shuttle buses take you directly to Andorra from Barcelona Airport. These pre-booked transfers run 12 times a day. You might even prefer a private transfer, which is a great idea for groups or families.

The airport train station will take you into Barcelona itself. From there, grab a connecting journey by rail to the resort you’re staying in.
