Zone out in Zermatt
Breuil-Cervinia is particularly excellent if you’re just starting out or have a bit of experience. There are various sweeping runs to try out, but it would be well worth venturing over to the neighbouring resort slopes for more choice. Veer off near Zermatt and enjoy more challenging runs on the Swiss side, as well as jagged terrain for hardened skiers – not to mention top drawer scenery!
More on the snow
This isn’t just an ideal pick for skiers and snowboarders – if you fancy a bit more adventure on the slopes, you’re in luck. Slalom down quiet red runs or test your tricks in the terrain park. But it gets more thrilling yet – there’s ice karting, snow scootering and even heli-skiing! Off the snow, hit the ice rink, indoor pools and spas.
