Announcements

We are delighted to announce the addition of weekly flights to Bergerac in France to our Summer 18 programme from Manchester Airport. The introduction of this new route means that we will operate to 43 destinations from our largest base, including three in France, during Summer 18.

The news comes just weeks after we announced our biggest ever summer flights and holidays programme from Manchester Airport for Summer 18, with over 2.2 million seats and thousands of 2-5 star hotels on sale, as well as the addition of an Airbus A330 to support its growth.

The addition of flights to Bergerac every Saturday morning adds even more choice for local holidaymakers, providing direct access to the Dordogne region in south-west France. The famous area is regarded as one of the most beautiful destinations in the country, featuring chateaux, medieval towns, unspoiled countryside, wine tasting, culinary delights and outdoor activities.

With the addition of Bergerac, we will fly to three French destinations in Summer 18, including five weekly flights to Nice, opening up the French Riviera, and two weekly flights to Toulouse, otherwise known as La Ville Rose’ (the pink city) because of its stunning pink terracotta architecture.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “The addition of Bergerac to our Summer 18 programme gives local holidaymakers even more choice from Manchester Airport with 43 sun and city destinations now on sale. We are delighted to be giving direct access to the famous Dordogne region and I am confident that the appeal of this stunning destination, in addition to our award-winning service, will make the route extremely popular.”
