Portugal - Planned Strike Action - 11th December 2025

We have been made aware that there is strike action taking place in Portugal on Thursday 11th December 2025. 

These strikes will potentially have an impact on flights arriving and departing into our Portuguese airports. However, currently all Jet2.com flights are expected to operate as scheduled. Please ensure you leave plenty of time to get to the airport as our check-in desks close 40 minutes before your departure time. 

Our dedicated operations teams are working hard behind the scenes to ensure we have the latest information for you. Please check back here for regular updates.

If your flight is affected, we will provide updates via SMS, email and the Jet2 app. You can also log into Manage my Booking to ensure your details are correct. We look forward to welcoming you on board.

These strikes will potentially have an impact on all public transport including trains, buses and metro from 00:01 until 21:00 on Friday 12th December, these are local times. 

Currently all Jet2.com flights are expected to operate as scheduled. Please ensure you leave plenty of time to get to the airport as our check-in desks close 40 minutes before your departure time.

If you have a transfer included in your Jet2holiday or Jet2CityBreak, our team will be in contact should this time need to be amended as a result.
