The UK’s largest tour operator, Jet2holidays, has today introduced four fantastic new destinations for customers and independent travel agents to choose from – with Symi, the Athens Coast, Porto and Pula all going on sale.
The addition of the four new destinations comes in response to continued demand from customers and independent travel agents. The exciting additions provide them with even more choice when it comes to booking a sunshine holiday or city break in Summer 24 and Summer 25.
Jet2holidays has added Symi and Athens Coast to its Summer 24 programme, in direct response to the enormous demand from customers and independent travel agents looking to book a holiday to Greece.
The addition of Athens Coast gives holidaymakers access to eight resorts across the sun-soaked region – Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Lagonissi, Anavyssos, Sounio, Vravrona, Mati and Marathon. The resorts are perfect for those looking for a laid-back holiday experience and Jet2holidays have put a range of 3 to 4-star properties on sale across the region, including the Grecotel Cape Sounio, Vincci EverEden and Marathon Beach.
Holidaymakers will be able to access the Athens Coast from three UK airports (Birmingham, Manchester and London Stansted), with flights operating into Athens with Jet2.com between 2nd May and 31st October. From Athens Airport, Jet2holidays customers can enjoy a short transfer to reach the coast.
Sitting to the south-east of Athens city, the Athens Coast peninsula hosts a multitude of sandy beaches, coves and smaller towns each with their own unique charm. Some of the resorts on sale boast up-market marinas with boutique shops, others are more rustic in character and offer a great selection of fresh seafood, while others have bustling nightlife scenes and plenty of places to go out and explore.
Jet2holidays’ second new Greek destination for Summer 24 is Symi, a satellite island located just to the north of Rhodes. Located in the south-east Aegean, Symi is part of the Dodecanese islands and is known for its beaches, harbour at Symi Town and colourful, authentic Greek houses located on hillsides. Symi is the perfect choice for holidaymakers who want to relax and soak up the slow pace of Greek life and Jet2holidays has put hotels on sale across three resorts - Symi Town, Pedi and Emporios.
Customers can book their Summer 24 holidays to Symi from 11 UK airports, with flights departing for Rhodes from Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle International. On arrival into Rhodes Airport, customers will receive accommodation in Rhodes for the first night of their holiday before continuing their journey to Symi the following day via ferry. After arriving in Symi, customers will be transported from the port to their chosen accommodation.
With holidays operating from April through to October, packages with Jet2holidays include award-winning Jet2.com flights to Rhodes Airport and a ferry crossing of approximately 1.5 hours to Symi.
As a result of today’s announcement, Jet2holidays now has an unrivalled choice of destinations on sale across Greece from the UK for Summer 24, with over 100 routes on sale to 14 Greek airports and 19 holiday regions to choose from.
The UK’s largest tour operator has also introduced brand-new Porto to its Jet2CityBreaks programme for Summer 25. Jet2CityBreaks will operate city breaks to Porto from two of its UK airports – Birmingham and Manchester Airports from 27th March to 9th November 2025. With up to two weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) operating from both airports, the addition of this new destination means customers and independent travel agents will be able to choose Jet2CityBreaks to this Portuguese city for the first time in 2025.
The launch of brand-new Porto for Summer 25 gives holidaymakers access to northern Portugal’s biggest city, which offers everything from extensive history and sightseeing to delicious cuisine, buzzing nightlife, and relaxation. Situated on the Douro River, this city of delights combines vibrant city life with beautiful beaches on Portugal’s coastline, meaning it is the ideal destination for couples, families, and groups of friends alike. Holidaymakers can get their culture fix by exploring world-class museums and galleries, stroll the labyrinthine of streets and hit the shops, or visit the beautiful beaches of Foz do Dour.
As well as putting Porto on sale, Jet2CityBreaks’ full City Breaks programme for Summer 25 has also gone on sale today too from Birmingham, Glasgow, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle International and London Stansted Airports. The destinations on sale include Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Prague, Paris, Rome, Nice, Vienna and Venice, with the Summer 25 programme including additional flying to Barcelona, Prague and Rome from Birmingham Airport and to Athens, Barcelona and Venice from Manchester Airport.
This unrivalled city breaks programme represents over 40 routes, more than 110 weekly flights and nearly one million seats on sale, a capacity increase of over 12% when compared to Summer 24, making it the company’s biggest ever City Breaks programme.
The fourth new destination announced today is Pula on the Istrian Coast in Croatia, which has been put on sale for Summer 25.
Flights and holidays to Pula have gone on sale for Summer 25 from three UK airports – Birmingham, Manchester and London Stansted Airports. Customers travelling on a package holiday to Pula with Jet2holidays can choose from over 30 hotels with star ratings ranging from 3 to 5-star across seven resorts - Porec, Rovinj, Umag, Novigrad, Pula, Medulin, Vrsar and Rabac.
Pula offers holidaymakers everything from architectural gems and historic monuments through to Blue Flag beaches and buzzing nightlife, making it the perfect holiday destination for history buffs, couples, and friends alike. Customers can also make the most of the Istrian Coast and its pretty promenades, trattorias serving up lemon-sprinkled seafood under the stars and buckets of old-world charm.
