Getting There

  • How do I book airport parking?

  • I am being dropped off/picked up at the airport. Is there a drop off point?

    Yes there are drop off/pick up points located at Geneva Airport.

  • Which terminal will my flight depart from? Which hall do I use to check in? flights depart from Terminal 1 Monday - Friday and after 16:00 on Sundays. flights depart from Terminal 2 on Saturdays and before 15:00 on Sundays.


  • What time will the check-in desk open?

    The check in desk will open 2 hours before departure.

  • What time will the check-in desk close?

    The check in desk will close strictly 40 minutes before departure.

  • Which company will provide me with Special Assistance?

    GVA assistance will provide Special Assistance at Geneva Airport.

  • Does the airport offer a meet and greet service (is someone able to meet me in the car park with Special Assistance)?

    Special Assistance terminals are available in the airport car parks to request assistance.

  • Where do I go if I have booked Special Assistance? Where does my Special Assistance begin?

    Please go to the check-in desk as normal and a member of our check-in team will arrange your assistance. All PMR have to check in in T1 common area (even if flight departs from T2)

  • Can I purchase a fast track ticket through security?

    Yes this is available but only for flights departing from T1 , you can purchase the priority lane(10CHF) on the airport website up to midnight before departure ( .

  • What are the opening times for the Sales desk?

    The sales desk is open between 05:00-21:00.

  • I have lost something in the airport/onboard a aircraft. Which telephone number can I call?

    As from the 14th of January the call center number for the Lost Properties will be : +41 (0)900 571 015 /CHF 1.19/min). Until this date the actual number is still valid : +41 (0)900 775 775. The phone number above has to be used once passenger has completed a lost baggage report (PIR), for lost items in the airport/onboard passengers have to complete the online form at the following link:

  • Travelling with hand baggage only?

    If travelling with hand baggage only and if you are in possession of your boarding card, you may proceed straight to security (unless your boarding card indicates otherwise). We advise that you arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your flight to allow enough time.
