Resorts for all sorts

In contrast to the clubs of neon-soaked Kavos, there’s the tranquil pace of Roda and Agios Ioannis to try. Meanwhile, fun-loving Sidari shows off a lively Blue Flag beach with water sports by day, and a vibrant atmosphere by night. In Dassia, a woodland-backed beach meets traditional tavernas. And you’re in for a treat along the UNESCO-stamped cobbles of Corfu Town thanks to its very Venetian flavour.

Natural charms

Away from the buzz of the beach resorts, there are lots of natural wonders to discover. The Blue Caves and Caribbean-like beaches of Antipaxos are must-sees for starters. Inland, the countryside is studded with endless olive groves and ancient monasteries to explore. For epic views of Mount Pantokrator, head to Kassiopi.

An all-ages appeal

Families flock to Aqualand for the world’s third largest wave pool and a big choice of super-charged slides. Further north, Pyramid Adventure Park has mini-golf and go-karts to keep you entertained. History buffs – check out the Byzantine castle Angelokastro. Add to that boat trips, beach barbecues and harbourside meze – it’s the good life all the way around these silky shores.
