Once the basics click, you can build your confidence on easy blue runs like 5 Laghi or Pradalago. Intermediates should point their skis in the direction of Grostè — the resort’s highest sector. Ready to test your mettle? Try out the Canalone Miramonti, a legendary World Cup downhill run. Non-skiers are equally spoilt for things to see and do. Snowshoeing trails wind through forests, while mountain spas invite you to relax.
Off the mountain, you can wander the pedestrian-friendly centre, lined with chic boutiques, rustic wine bars and cosy trattorias serving polenta and local speck.
