As well as enjoying the glorious winter sun that both Lanzarote and Tenerife have to offer, learning the local language is a great way to add something extra to your break.
Yet you don’t necessarily need to have lessons to be able to pick up some popular phrases and terms. Instead, whilst choosing some of the local cuisine, why not study the menus and speak to the waiters and waitresses.
This is a great way to pick up some useful terms that will make your stay more enjoyable.
Great Food and Great Conversion
The Spanish language is one of the most universally spoken so being able to communicate using some basic phrases and terms will allow you to make the most of your cheap flights to Tenerife or Lanzarote.
Sat around the dinner table with some sangria or wine and indulging in the many delicious Spanish dishes that populate most menus, is the perfect setting to try out some of the terms and phrases learnt in Spanish.
It is an easy way to learn something new whilst enjoying your holiday and doesn’t take up too much effort.
