It is a year since we announced that we were launching flights and holidays from London Stansted Airport.

Since unveiling our ninth UK base and first in the south of England, we have come a long way. Just look at some of the numbers…

• In September 2016 we announced that we were on sale to 21 destinations from London Stansted, and today we have increased that to 38 fantastic sun, ski and city destinations.
• Back when we launched flights and holidays, we announced six aircraft in operation at London Stansted. In Summer 18 we will operate ten aircraft.
• We announced a huge 800,000 seats on sale when we first launched. In Summer 18 we will increase capacity by over 45% year-on-year to more than 1.3 million seats!

It is not just about the summer season either. Towards the end of last year we put our first ever winter flights and holidays programme from London Stansted Airport on sale for 2017/18.

This means that we will fly to a total of 15 destinations this winter, with a fantastic range of winter warmers available, as well as four fantastic ski destinations in Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon and Salzburg. On top of that we also have four of our famous New York Shopping Trips on sale.

Over 250 jobs have been created as a result of this operation and since our first flights in March this year, our team have been looking after customers to make sure that they experience our family friendly formula and award-winning service. As a result, we have been able to enjoy this growth.

It has been a great first year since launching at London Stansted Airport, and we are looking forward to many more years of success.

Winter 17/18

• 15 destinations in total
• Winter Sun: Alicante, Faro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Madeira, Majorca, Malaga, Paphos, Tenerife
• City breaks: New York shopping trips
• Ski: Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon and Salzburg

Summer 18

• 33 destinations in total including: Alicante, Antalya, Bodrum, Corfu, Costa de Almeria, Crete (Heraklion), Dalaman, Dubrovnik, Faro, Fuerteventura, Girona, Gran Canaria, Halkidiki, Ibiza, Kefalonia, Kos, Lanzarote, Larnaca, Madeira, Majorca, Malaga, Malta, Menorca, Naples, Nice, Paphos, Pula, Reus, Rhodes, Split, Tenerife, Verona and Zante.
