Jet2holidays has today announced a brand-new digital billboard campaign dedicated to driving customers to visit their local independent travel agent.
The nationwide campaign, which goes live today and will reach up to five million adults, has been designed to encourage customers onto the high street and into their local independent travel agency. It will be supported by a social media campaign across Facebook and Instagram.
Using bespoke creative on digital billboards in areas with high footfall, the UK’s leading tour operator to many destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands calls on customers to ‘Visit Your Local Independent Travel Agent’ today.
The digital billboard also encourages customers to scan a QR code, which then directs them to the Travel Agent Finder section of the Jet2holidays website. By doing this, customers automatically view a map, contact and address details for their nearest local independent travel agencies, so that they can visit or call, and therefore benefit from expertise, guidance and advice when booking a package holiday with Jet2holidays. The campaign is upweighted across Jet2holidays’ ten UK bases, meaning it can better target independent travel agents that work in partnership with the company.
The campaign is the latest example of Jet2holidays’ award-winning Partners2Success strategy in action and represents the first time that the tour operator has put independent travel agents at the heart of an outdoor billboard campaign.
It comes on the back of the company’s continued investment into supporting independent travel agents on the back of travel returning to normal and demand bouncing back. This includes the recent appointment of two new Trade Sales Executives, as well as the launch of ‘Jet2holidays Learn’, a new ‘one stop online shop’ that gives independent travel agents the knowledge and tools to help them increase sales and grow their businesses.
