UK consumer champion Jet2 has given customers and independent travel agents plenty to cheer about, after announcing the launch of flights and holidays to Tunisia for Summer 2027.
The UK’s largest tour operator and third largest airline will operate to Tunisia from five UK airports (Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted and Manchester) from 1st May to 31st October 2027. (Full programme details can be found below).
Today’s announcement comes in response to demand from customers and independent travel agents and means they have plenty of choice when it comes to taking off to a sun-soaked destination that offers culture, cuisine, history, beaches and fantastic value for money.
The exciting new addition means that customers travelling to Tunisia with Jet2holidays can now choose from a range of 3 to 5-star hotels situated in the resorts of Port el Kantaoui, Skanes, Mahdia, Sousse, Yasmine Hammamet and Hammamet.
From Hammamet’s magical medina to Sousse’s palm‑lined ramparts, the country brims with colour and character. Holidaymakers can wander Roman amphitheatres, sip mint tea beside blue‑and‑white cliffside houses or watch fishermen haul in the day’s catch along Mahdia’s quiet coast. Out in the south, salt flats shimmer like glass and desert villages appear out of nowhere. As well as offering golden beaches, Tunisia offers more than just a beach break as it is a place where every corner has a story.
The company will operate flights to Enfidha–Hammamet International Airport in Tunisia from 1st May 2027, with flights on sale from the following airports:
- Birmingham Airport – two weekly flights (Wednesday and Saturday) operating from 1st May 2027 to 30th October 2027.
- East Midlands Airport – weekly Saturday flights operating from 1st May 2027 to 30th October 2027.
- Leeds Bradford Airport - weekly Saturday flights operating from 1st May 2027 to 30th October 2027.
- Manchester Airport – two weekly flights (Tuesday and Friday) operating from 7th May 2027 to 29th October 2027.
- London Stansted Airport – two weekly flights (Wednesday and Sunday) operating from 2nd May 2027 to 31st October.
