Lech ski resort
Having gained a lot of popularity between the 1920s and 1930s, it’s hardly any wonder that A-listers and athletes flock to Lech’s ski slopes. It’s a classic-style Austrian resort that’ll instantly enchant you, with access to all 88 lifts of Ski Arlberg’s system – another reason why its stats look especially impressive!

The middle child
If there’s one thing Lech’s ski slopes are good for, it’s being middling. That’s right, this is the place for intermediates. You’ll have plenty of choice across Lech itself and the wider Ski Arlberg to take on mid-range runs set in stunning, snowsure environments. Head to the Schlegelkopf or Schlosskopf lifts for more options.
From advanced runs to activities
While daring skiers can zip down advanced runs and off-piste areas, there are also two terrain parks to keep snowboarders fulfilled. And once you’ve conquered the snow, who’s up for indoor golf, curling, sleigh rides or even a classic tobogganing trip? There’ll be all this and more to play with.
Wine, dine and feel fine
More than 55 restaurants make up Lech’s culinary scene. Cosy pubs serve warming fare with a side of local history, while you can opt for Austrian, Asian or Mediterranean cuisine elsewhere. There are even gourmet dining rooms within hotels. Why not step things up a notch with a night out starting in a champagne bar?
