Our eagerly-anticipated programme of Christmas market flights and trips for 2020 is now on sale, and the festive selection is bigger and more spectacular than ever - with more destinations, more flights and more choice.
With European Christmas markets continuing to enjoy enormous popularity, we have introduced a mini-series of flights and city breaks to a festive assortment of winter wonderlands from November until just before Christmas including brand-new destination - Strasbourg.
The Strasbourg Christmas market is the oldest in France, and from November the whole town transforms into a winter wonderland with its charming streets and squares turned into a stunning Christmas scene.
As the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of European city breaks, we have sprinkled even more Christmas cheer into our 2020 programme, by also introducing a series of dedicated two-night trips, perfect for a quick Christmas getaway.
This mini-series and programme of two-night trips means that we will operate more than 100 services to eight Christmas market destinations – Berlin (Brandenburg Airport), Budapest, Cologne, Krakow, Nuremberg, Copenhagen, BRAND-NEW Strasbourg and Vienna – between November and Christmas, from seven UK bases.
In addition, we will operate scheduled flights and city breaks to several popular Christmas market destinations during the winter and in the build up to Christmas. With multiple weekly flights on sale to destinations such as Amsterdam, Budapest, Barcelona, Prague and Krakow, customers have complete choice and flexibility over how long they spend visiting the most charming Christmas markets in Europe – whether it’s for a weekend, a long weekend or longer.
Our full Christmas market programme for Winter 20 is as follows:
Birmingham:
Mini-series of flights and breaks to BRAND-NEW Berlin with twice weekly services (Monday and Friday) between 27th November and 14th December meaning six departures in total.
Mini-series of flights and breaks to BRAND-NEW Copenhagen with Thursday and Sunday services between 26th November and 13th December meaning six departures in total.
Eight departures to Vienna between 19th November and 13th December, thanks to Thursday and Sunday services.
Dedicated two-night trips to THREE BRAND-NEW DESTINATIONS: Strasbourg (11-13 November), Cologne (4-6 December) and Nuremberg (27-29 November).
In addition to this, there are also four weekly services operating during the winter to Budapest, Prague and Krakow, as well as two weekly services to Barcelona.
Edinburgh:
Mini-series of flights and breaks to Vienna, with weekly Monday and Friday services operating from 27th November to 14th December, meaning six departures available.
East Midlands:
Dedicated two-night trips to TWO BRAND-NEW DESTINATIONS: Krakow (27 -29 November) and Vienna (4-6 December).
Two-night trip also on sale to Copenhagen (11-13 November).
Glasgow:
Dedicated two-night trips to TWO BRAND-NEW DESTINATIONS: Budapest (4-6 December) and Vienna (11-13 December).
In addition, there are also two weekly services operating during the winter to Prague, Krakow and Barcelona.
Leeds Bradford:
Mini-series of flights and breaks to Vienna, with weekly Monday and Friday services operating from 27th November to 21st December, meaning eight departures available.
Dedicated two-night trip to BRAND-NEW Strasbourg (4-6 December) with two-night trips also available to Cologne (27-29 November), Copenhagen (4-6 December) and Nuremberg (11-13 December).
In addition, there are also six weekly services to Amsterdam, four weekly services to Barcelona, as well as twice-weekly services to Budapest, Prague and Krakow operating during the winter.
Manchester:
Mini-series of flights and breaks to three destinations including BRAND-NEW Nuremberg. Eight services to the destination thanks to weekly Monday and Friday services from 27th November to 21st December.
Mini-series of flights and breaks also available to Cologne, with weekly Monday and Friday services operating from 27th November to 21st December, meaning eight departures available.
Ten departures to Vienna between 20th November and 21st December, thanks to Monday and Friday services.
In addition, there are also four weekly services operating during the winter to Budapest, Prague and Krakow, as well as twice-weekly services to Barcelona.
Newcastle:
Fantastic selection of dedicated two-night trips, including BRAND-NEW Strasbourg (27-29 November)
