Getting There

  • How do I book airport parking?

    Click here for airport parking.

  • I am being dropped off/picked up at the airport. Is there a drop off point?

    There is a free drop-off and pick-up area, which you can use for up to 30 minutes. This is approximately a five-minute walk from the terminal. There is also a premium drop-off and pick-up area which is right outside the terminal but does not offer any free time.

  • Which terminal will my flight depart from? Which hall do I use to check in?

    All Jet2.com flights use the north check-in hall through Door B, at check-in desks 14-28. Flights will depart from the north departures sign posted Gates 40-68.

Check-In

  • What time will the check-in desk open?

    The check-in desk will open 3 hours before departure.

  • Is there a separate queue for online check-in?

    No, all customers join the one queue and those with online check-in may be able to use our self service kiosks depending on the size of the party and amount off luggage. Our staff will be on hand to assist and direct customers the right way.

  • What time will the check-in desk close?

    The check-in desk will close strictly 40 minutes before departure.

  • Which company will provide me with Special Assistance?

    OCS provide assistance at Birmingham Airport.

  • Does the airport offer a meet and greet service (is someone able to meet me in the car park with Special Assistance)?

    Yes, the car parks do have call points for assistance.

  • Where do I go if I have booked Special Assistance? Where does my Special Assistance begin?

    The assistance team are located on the ground floor between arrivals and the north check-in hall. Customers may book in with them first for assistance if required or can complete the check-in process first and then book in with the assistance team depending on the customer needs.

  • Can I purchase a fast track ticket through security?

    Yes – it is cheaper to book online in advance.

  • What are the opening times for the Sales desk?

    The Sales Desk is generally open between 03:00-22:00 during March through October, and 06:00-19:00 between November and February.

  • I have lost something in the airport/onboard a Jet2.com aircraft. Which telephone number can I call?

    The Sales Desk will be able to assist with this on 0121 767 1470 or 0121 767 7750.

  • Is there an airport lounge available? If so, how do I make a booking?

    Yes there is the No 1 Lounge, No 1 Lounge Clubroom and the Aspire Lounge. These can be booked on the day but it is cheaper to prebook via: www.no1lounges.com/service/airport-lounges/no1-lounges/birmingham and www.executivelounges.com/airport-lounges/birmingham-airport-aspire-lounge

  • Travelling with hand baggage only?

    If you are checked in online you can proceed directly to security and into the departure lounge. If you need to check-in then please proceed to the check-in desks 14-28.
