From 1 February 2019, all flights to and from Alicante, Almeria, Antalya, Barcelona, Bodrum, Izmir, Krakow, Malta, Menorca, Naples, Nice, Pisa, Pula and Verona will operate at Terminal 2 (T2).

This is along with all flights to and from Lanzarote, Malaga, Majorca and Tenerife, which have operated at T2 since 11 April 2018.

Getting There

  • How do I book airport parking?

  • I am being dropped off/picked up at the airport. Is there a drop off point?

    Yes, there is a drop off/pick up point.

  • Which terminal will my flight depart from? Which hall do I use to check in?

    Our flights depart from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. All flights that depart from Terminal 1 will use Check-in Hall B. Please visit to find out which terminal your flight will depart from.


  • What time will the check-in desk open?

    The check in desk will open 3 hours 30 minutes before departure.

  • Is there a separate queue for online check-in?

    No. We ask all customers, with luggage to drop off, to join one queue for our all destination check in.

  • What time will the check-in desk close?

    The check in desk will close strictly 40 minutes before departure.

  • Which company will provide me with Special Assistance?

    OCS provide Special Assistance at Manchester Airport.

  • Does the airport offer a meet and greet service (is someone able to meet me in the car park with Special Assistance)?

    Yes. This can be booked on the Manchester Airport website.

  • Where do I go if I have booked Special Assistance? Where does my Special Assistance begin?

    On arrival, please speak to a member of staff who will arrange your assistance.

At The Airport

  • Can I purchase a fast track ticket through security?

    Yes. This can be purchased from the Manchester Airport website. Please note that fast track security passes can only be used if you enter security through the upper level check in area.

  • What are the opening times for the Sales desk?

    The Sales desk is open between 0400-1700.

  • Is there an airport lounge available? If so, how do I make a booking?

    Yes. This can be purchased via the Manchester Airport website.

  • Travelling with hand baggage only?

    If travelling with hand baggage only and if you are in possession of your boarding card, you may proceed straight to security (unless your boarding card indicates otherwise). We advise that you arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your flight to allow enough time.
