A group of five men have today been banned from their Jet2.com flight returning home from Dusseldorf this weekend. This follows their entirely inappropriate , offensive and unnecessary behaviour on the outbound flight from Leeds yesterday.
Jack Norman, along with his four friends, were disruptive on the flight by continually shouting and using offensive language. Mr Norman was also reportedly sexually and racially abusive towards our cabin crew. In addition to being refused travel home, the men have each received a six month ban from the airline.
Phil Ward, managing director of Jet2.com, said: “The actions of these passengers towards our cabin crew, who are there for their safety and comfort, were totally inappropriate and something we will not tolerate. With our Onboard Together initiative we have made a commitment to stamp out such abusive behaviour to protect both our customers and staff. Passengers should be in no doubt that we will ban them from travel if they are offensive and disruptive on our flights.”
Over the past year, nearly 500 have been refused travel by Jet2.com for their disruptive behaviour.
