Jet2holidays Bid for a Break campaign is back by popular demand from 25th April, giving even more holidaymakers the chance to pay just a few pence for their next sunshine getaway.

Following its huge success last year, the sought-after ‘Bid for a Break’ campaign from the UK’s leading tour operator to many leisure destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean is making a return. Once again, the campaign is offering holidaymakers the opportunity to bid for their next holiday each week, with the lowest unique bid buying a holiday for that same price with Jet2holidays.

After the campaign launched in the summer last year, 23 holidaymakers successfully ‘Bid on a Break’ with Jet2holidays, meaning they scooped a holiday for the same price as their lowest bid. Holidaymakers successfully bid on and secured getaways with Jet2holidays to the Canary Islands, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, the Algarve and Turkey, with successful bids starting from just 2p.

To get involved when the campaign returns from 25th April, all customers need to do is download the Jet2holidays app on the App Store or Google Play. Holidaymakers will be able to add in their bid for the holiday to the nearest pence and then cross their fingers. If they are the only user to bid that amount and that amount is the lowest, they will buy the holiday for that same price.

There will be a new holiday available to bid on every week to sunshine hotspots, including the Balearics, Canary Islands, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. Bids will open at 9.00am on a Monday and can be placed until midday on the Thursday, before the lowest unique bid is announced on the same day.

For those that are unsuccessful, all is not lost, as they will receive a special discount code giving them £60 off their next holiday.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “With international travel now fully unlocked, we know how much UK holidaymakers want to get away to enjoy some much-needed sunshine, and we are delighted to relaunch our Bid for a Break campaign. The campaign was hugely successful last year and now, thanks to its return, we are once again giving holidaymakers the chance to get away in a fun way for potentially only a few pence. Based on the popularity of the campaign last year, we know that holidaymakers will be equally excited to see Bid for a Break return. With some fantastic holidays available to bid on, make sure you get involved and place your bid.”
