Marking the start of their bumper programme to Iceland for Winter 25/26, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have waved off their inaugural flights this winter to the stunning destination today (Thursday 2nd October).

With more customers looking to jet away to the bucket list destination, the first flights for the winter departed from Birmingham and Manchester Airports.

The leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of European city breaks will also operate their first flights for the season from Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, London Stansted and Newcastle International Airports over the coming weeks, followed by services commencing from Belfast International, Bournemouth, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford and Liverpool John Lennon Airport in November and December.

With two extra departure points to choose from this winter, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks’ Winter 25/26 Iceland programme is operating from more UK airport bases than ever before, thanks to the addition of brand-new services from Bournemouth and Liverpool John Lennon Airports. As a result, Jet2.com is officially operating flights to Iceland from more UK airports than any other carrier this winter, offering unrivalled choice and flexibility.

In direct response to demand from customers and independent travel agents looking to discover Iceland’s natural wonders, the companies are offering a bumper programme of scheduled services and dedicated trips to the once-in-a-lifetime destination this winter, representing over 60,000 seats on sale across their Winter 25/26 Iceland programme.

All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by award-winning Jet2.com and the full Winter 25/26 programme is as follows:

Belfast International Airport  

  • Three dedicated trips in total, including a four-night trip on 3rd December 2025, a four-night trip on 18th February 2026 and a four-night trip on 22nd April 2026. The February trip is perfectly timed for the February half-term while the April trip falls over the Easter holidays.

Birmingham Airport 

  • Scheduled Monday and Thursday services operating from 2nd October to 8th December 2025, and 29th January to 27th April 2026. This covers the October and February half term holidays, as well as Easter and in the countdown to Christmas.

Bournemouth Airport – brand new and exclusive route 

  • Three dedicated trips in total, including one three-night trip on 23rd November 2025, one four-night trip on 11th February 2026 and one four-night trip on 1st April 2026.

Bristol Airport 

  • Three dedicated trips in total, including a four-night trip on 8th October, a three-night trip on 12th October and a four-night trip on 15th October 2025.

East Midlands Airport  

  • Five dedicated trips in total, including a three-night trip on 19th October 2025, a four-night trip on 22nd October 2025, a four-night trip on 11th February 2026, a three-night trip on 15th February 2026 and a three-night trip on 19th April 2026. These trips are well-timed for the October half-term, February half-term and Easter holidays.

Edinburgh Airport  

  • Three dedicated trips in total, including a four-night trip on 26th November 2025, a four-night trip on 4th February 2026 and a three-night trip on 8th February 2026. Both the February trips are ideally timed for the February half-term.  

Glasgow Airport  

  • Two weekly services (Wednesday and Sunday) operating from 8th to 22nd October 2025.

Leeds Bradford Airport 

  • Twice weekly services (Wednesday and Sunday) operating from 16th to 26th November 2025, 18th to 25th February 2026, 1st to 8th March 2026 and 5th to 15th April 2026.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport – brand-new programme from the base 

  • Two dedicated trips in total, including a three-night trip on 30th November 2025 and a three-night trip on 15th February 2026. The trip in February is ideally timed for the February half-term.  

London Stansted Airport 

  • Twice weekly services (Wednesday and Sunday) operating from 26th October to 12th November 2025 and 11th March to 1st April 2026, offering fantastic access for the October half term and Easter holidays. 
  • Covering the February half term holidays, two weekly services will operate from 12th to 22nd February 2026.

Manchester Airport 

  • Scheduled Monday and Thursday services operating throughout the season from 2nd October to 8th December 2025 and 29th January to 27th April 2026. This covers the October and February half term holidays, as well as Easter and the countdown to Christmas.

Newcastle International Airport 

  • Twice weekly services (Wednesday and Sunday) operating from 26th October to 19th November 2025 and 22nd February to 29th March 2026. These flights cover the late October half-term and late February half-term.

Customers looking to uncover the delights of Iceland can choose from award-winning flights with Jet2.com or package options with Jet2CityBreaks, available for a low £60 per person deposit.
