Jet2 expands Bergerac programme fivefold for Summer 27

UK consumer champion Jet2 has today announced another expansion of its Bergerac programme for Summer 27, with the launch of a brand-new route to the destination from Bristol Airport.
This latest route addition means that the leading leisure airline and UK’s largest tour operator now has three new Bergerac routes on sale for Summer 27, following the previously announced Birmingham and Manchester programmes. Together with the existing Leeds Bradford Airport programme, which is operating in Summer 26 too, Jet2 will offer Bergerac from four UK airports in Summer 27.
Weekly Saturday services will operate from Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds Bradford airports, representing a fivefold increase in Bergerac capacity in response to demand. In total, 27,000 seats are on sale to Bergerac for Summer 27, which is more than 400% higher than Summer 26.
Bergerac is the gateway to the famous Dordogne region, one of the most beautiful areas of France. With its stunning chateaux, medieval towns, unspoiled countryside, renowned wine tasting, culinary delights and wide range of outdoor activities, the destination gives holidaymakers the chance to experience one of France’s most charming and characterful regions.
Holidaymakers can access fantastic Eurocamp holidays in the region through Jet2holidays, with parks nestled in locations close to lakes, rivers and idyllic towns, with the inclusion of car hire meaning that holidaymakers can head out and explore nearby resorts and attractions at their own pace.
The brand-new Bristol Airport route will operate weekly on Saturdays from 22nd May to 25th September 2027, with flights and holidays going on sale today.
The announcement also means Jet2 now has 37 destinations on sale from Bristol Airport for Summer 27, following the recent launch of Jersey as another new route from the airport.
Customers and independent travel agents booking the new route can enjoy the award-winning service that Jet2 is renowned for, including great value, package holidays with a low deposit and the company’s famously welcoming customer service.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said: “Bergerac is proving to be a very popular destination, so we are delighted to be expanding our programme significantly for Summer 27. The launch of our brand-new Bristol Airport route, alongside new services from Birmingham and Manchester in addition to our existing Leeds Bradford programme, means that customers and independent travel agents have even more opportunity to access this stunning part of France. With capacity growing fivefold compared to Summer 26, this is a fantastic demonstration of our confidence in Bergerac and the Dordogne region, and we are looking forward to a very successful Summer 27.”
Gauthier De Malet, CEO Bergerac Airport, said: “Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport is delighted to welcome Jet2’s announcement of this new route. This development further strengthens Jet2’s presence at Bergerac and reflects the airline’s confidence in our airport and in the long-term potential of the Dordogne as a destination. It is excellent news for our airport, for tourism, and for the wider economic development of the region.”
