Czech Republic entry requirements

Current entry requirements

Before travelling to your destination, please check the latest entry requirements as they may differ depending on your: destination, nationality, and your travel document type.

If you aren’t travelling on a full ‘British Citizen’ passport, there might be some different entry requirements. We recommend that all travellers check the latest requirements before travelling, which can be found on the FCDO website

Destination entry requirements

Without a visa, entry is permitted for a maximum stay of 90 days in a 180-day period

EU Entry/Exit System

Prague Airport is currently implementing the new entry/exit system at passport control for UK and other non-EU nationals. It replaces passport stamping with electronic checks.

You'll be required to register at a self-service kiosk at your arrival airport. They'll collect your photo, fingerprints (not for under 12s) and other basic info.

Once registered, you’ll cross the border as normal.

There’s no cost and nothing to do before you travel.
