Hold Baggage Allowance & Excess Baggage

Provided that the applicable charges have been paid, each customer (excluding infants) may pre-book up to three bags per flight, with an allowance of 22kg per bag. Any baggage which exceeds your total weight allowance of 22kg will be carried subject to availability and at our discretion. You will also need to pay an excess baggage fee, which is currently £12 per kg.

Please note that no single item of baggage may weigh more than 32kg.

When pre-booking your bags, the charge per bag is variable depending on your destination, and on whether you make your booking through our website, Call Centre, or at the airport. If you want to check in an additional item at the airport on the day of departure, you’ll need to pay a fee of £45 per item, plus any applicable excess baggage fees.

We generally accept payment for additional baggage fees at the airport in local currency, or by a credit card or debit card. If you are planning to travel with excess baggage, please allow extra time to complete the check-in process.

On request, and if you have approval beforehand, certain items of sporting or medical equipment may be carried in excess of this weight. Please contact us before making your booking to seek the authorisation you need. If you don’t inform us in advance, we reserve the right to refuse carriage of these items.
