Family Fun in Ibiza

With sun, great beaches and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained Ibiza is a fantastic destination for a family holiday.

In San Antonio you can board the scenic tour train The San Antonio Express from the centre of town. It takes you on a beautiful ride past all the best sights and up to the hills to El Mirador where you get fantastic views of the island. Tickets are as little as €16 for adults and €8 for children for a 2 hour trip.

Ideal for families, Es Cana boasts lovely sandy beaches and boats from the harbour can take you to Ibiza Town and the island of Formentera.

The idyllic, white sandy beach lined with trees in Cala Llonga is perfect for children to build sandcastles and paddle in the sea. It's also great for those bigger kids to get active with the various watersports on offer here.

Playa D'en Bossa is a great destination for families with a wide range of entertainment on offer and a beautiful stretch of beach to sunbathe on and chill out later in the day. There are many cafes and restaurants around whether you are looking for a quick snack or a filling meal. Aguamar is Playa D'en Bossa's fun-filled water park where the whole family can easily fill a day on the slides and rapids.

You cannot leave Ibiza without a trip to the Hippy markets at Es Cana held every Wednesday during April to October. Here you can find rows and rows of stalls selling original clothing, bags, jewellery and candles and plenty of inspiration for presents to bring home! Even if you're not looking to buy, the street entertainers and musicians make the markets worth a visit.
