Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are celebrating 15 years of operating award-winning flights and package holidays from East Midlands Airport.
Since their first flight from the airport took off to Paphos 15 years ago, almost 12 million happy holidaymakers have travelled with the award-winning airline and tour operator from East Midlands Airport.
When Jet2.com and Jet2holidays first started operating from East Midlands Airport back in 2010, the companies operated flights and holidays to just nine destinations. Over the last 15 years, the airline has experienced continued growth and success to become the UK’s third largest airline, with Jet2holidays taking the top spot as the UK’s largest tour operator. Now, the companies offer a choice of 46 sun, city and ski destinations from the airport.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays continue to expand at East Midlands Airport and have introduced a series of new destinations, offering customers and independent travel agents even more choice and flexibility. With eight based aircraft, Summer 25 marks the companies’ biggest ever summer of operations from East Midlands, including the addition of brand-new flights and city breaks to Budapest, giving holidaymakers the opportunity to explore the Hungarian capital in the sunshine.
For Winter 25/26, Christmas Market flights to Berlin will take off for the first time for those looking to experience the festive magic of the German capital. Looking further ahead, Jet2.com will commence operations to Agadir, Bergen, Costa De Almeria, Preveza, Pula, Split and Thessaloniki (Halkidiki) throughout Summer 26 from East Midlands Airport.
Over the past 15 years, Jet2.com’s VIP customer service, friendly low fares, great flight times and 10kg hand baggage have proven extremely popular amongst customers travelling from across the region.

Recommended Provider for ten and seven consecutive years respectively.
