Jet2 has extended its partnership with the Leigh Leopards into a second season, seeing the company named the UK’s Principal Club Partner for the 2026 Betfred Super League season.
Following a successful first year sponsorship agreement, the company, which comprises Jet2.com, the UK’s favourite airline, and Jet2holidays, the UK’s largest tour operator, will have its distinctive logo featured prominently across the Leigh Leopards’ new playing shirts, as well as in the stadium.
The partnership will continue strengthening Jet2’s connections with families and customers, as well as colleagues, across the North West and beyond, in addition to further raising brand awareness.
Jet2 flies millions of customers from across the region to and from their holidays, and employs over 3,000 colleagues across the North West including at Manchester Airport, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Jet2.com’s Manchester Airport Hangars, Jet2’s Training Centre in Cheadle and Jet2’s Retail Operations Centre in Cheshire.
Earlier this year, Jet2 was announced as the Leigh Leopards Travel Partner for 2026, meaning the team and staff will travel with Jet2 for its fixture against the Catalans Dragons in May.
Leigh Leopards, Chief Operating Officer Steve Kerr, said: “Jet2 is the largest UK tour operator and a fantastic partner of Leigh Leopards. I’m pleased that we have extended our partnership, and I’m looking forward to another year working alongside Jet2 colleagues.
“Year one of our partnership saw some exciting engagement, the membership collections, airport launch, Jet2 competitions and travelling to Catalans which were all highlights of mine. As the partnership continues, we are looking forward to more activations. It promises to be another exciting season year at the Leopards Den, and we are once again hoping the Leopards will be flying high at the top at the end of the Super League.”
David Hills, Chief Customer Officer at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Leigh Leopards once again, and we look forward to another season of success together. As well as helping generate fantastic brand awareness of our award-winning company, we are proud to work with a brand that shares our family friendly values. Our logo looks fantastic on the new Leigh Leopards shirts, and we know fans will be wearing them proudly once again.”
